Answer #1

Sb in Sb2O5 has oxidation state of +5

Sb in SbO+ has oxidation state of +3

So, Sb in Sb2O5 is reduced to SbO+

This means Sb2O5 is oxidising agent

N in NO has oxidation state of +2

N in HNO3 has oxidation state of +5

So, N in NO is oxidised to HNO3

This means NO is reducing agent

Answer:

Name of element oxidised: Nitrogen

Name of element reduced: Antimony

Formula of the oxidising agent: Sb2O5

Formula of the reducing agent: NO
