It is 2010, the time of the case, and Steve Jobs is still alive and in control. Three "game-changing" products (Ipod, Iphone, Ipad) were launched
in the first decade of this century.

1. Can Apple , as of 2010, keep the momentum going?

2. Separate question: it's now 2016. Steve Jobs is gone. No "game changer" has been launched since his passing. Can they sustain
the momentum? If so, how? If not, why not?

Innovation always help an entrepreneur by giving him the first-mover advantage. So, if three new game-changing products are being launched, then obviously Apple will have the first-mover advantage and thus, it will definitely keep the momentum going.

If Steve jobs has gone and there are no new innovations, then it will be difficult, if not impossible, for Apple to sustain the momentum. It'll be difficult since people-repelling-change has become an old theory and so, people have realised that the change is the only thing constant. So, in order to seek new varieties, they'll easily switch to new products which are offering something new. However, it is not impossible to sustain the momentum due to the concept of brand loyalty, in which people will keep preferring Apple products for a time, no matter whether they launch something new or not.
