Answer #1

On Oct. 19, 1960 U.S. President Dwight D. Eisenhower’s State Department imposed it's first trade embargo on Cuba and on Feb. 7, 1962 it was expanded by President John F. Kennedy to cover U.S. imports from Cuba and made it permanent. The trade embargo of 1960 had direct impacts on trade, aid, and domestic economic activity. President John F. Kennedy expansion into a full embargo in economy included stringent travel restrictions that impacted the tourism industry. On the front of tourism, travellers already make the way to Cuba via Europe, Canada, Mexico, and other nations. Thus trade embargo of 1960 impacted the U.S. tourism industry in a negative manner
