Two objects, A and B, both have the same mass but B has a larger volume. What can you say about the density of these objects?

  • A. Since they have the same mass, they have the same density.
  • B. Not enough data to determine.
  • C. Object A is less dense than object B.
  • D. Object B is less dense than object A.

Answer #1

Density is Mass per unit Volume

.

since mass of both A and B is same so density depends on volume. from formula density is inversely proportional to volume i.e. with the increase in volume density decrease and vice versa.

So, If volume of B is more than A than B will be less dense than A.

so, answer will be D
