There are several ways parents can improve their children's development in school and in life. Here are a few examples:

  1. Be involved in their education: Research shows that parental involvement in their child's education is strongly correlated with academic success. This can include attending parent-teacher conferences, volunteering in the classroom, and helping with homework.

  2. Encourage a love of reading: Reading is one of the most important skills children need to succeed academically and in life. Parents can encourage their children to read by providing books and reading together.
