Answer #1

The term Adolescence comes from the Latin word adolescere, meaning, to grow to maturity.the term adolescence includes mental, emotional and social maturity as well as maturity. Teachers and parents must guide below things to people.

1.it is an important period: so parents firstly explain what are physical changes are going the physical changes going happen in that period.and also teachers educate them about what is the need for mental adjustment and the necessity for establishing new attitudes, values and interests.

2.it is a transitional period:

Transition doesn't mean a or change from what has gone before but rather a passage from one stage of development to another. This means during the life span events of the preceding stage will have an impact on the succeeding stages of development.in this stage some try to behave like children their parents told to act their age, if they act like adults they are often accused of being too big for their britches and are reported for their attempts to be like adults.so in schools also they arrange classes about this issues and guide the students about their transmission.

3).it is a period of change: some of the changes that occur during adolescence are heightened emotionality. The intensity of emotionality depends on the rate at which the physical and psychological changes are taking place. the rapid changes that accompany sexual maturing make the young adolescents unsure of themselves, of their capacities, and their interests.

They are ambiguous in decision-making. for example, they want independence and at the same time, they do not want any responsibilities.

4.problem age: Because of their lack of ability to cope with problems unaided as well as they believe they can, many adolescents find that the solutions do not always come to their expectations.

5.search of identity: they are in the confusion of identity crisis or the problem of ego identity.

6.A dreaded age:

Giving credence the cultural stereotype of teenagers as sloppy, unreliable individuals who are disposed towards destructiveness and anti-social behaviour has led many adults who must guide and supervise the lives of young adolescents to dread this responsibility and to be an incentive in their attitudes toward, and treatment of, normal adolescent behaviour.

According to my self, I recommend the following things:

*Guidance and counselling for adolescents

*guide about their reproductive health

*guide about their physical changes

*guide about the consequences of drug abuse

*guide how to reduce tension and anxiety,

*briefed about physical, psychological, emotional, social characteristics

*tell them about health and hygiene during this age.

*educate them. about moral

*tell them about inner control of behaviour

*Guide them about to adopt healthy interests.

2nd question: during adolescent periods I enjoyed a lot with my peer group and carrier goes in smooth and healthy track, why because my parents and my teachers briefed me about the changes are going to happen at that stage.as though some little confusion is there but they helped me in every step. actually, I am showing very much interest in studies because of my patents off course but when parents consider education as the stepping stone to upward mobility they show any inclination to educate me. thats why I am in this position now . all credit goes to my parents. I am also found conflict role identity vs role confusion.

Many teenagers participate in risk behaviors that threaten their current and future health. Substance use, violence, and unprotected sexual intercourse are responsible for much of the mortality and morbidity experienced in adolescence and early adulthood.1 While older adults are vulnerable to illnesses such as heart disease, cancer, and diabetes, adolescents are threatened by homicide, suicide, car accidents, and AIDS — ailments that are behavioral and, therefore, preventable.2 There is growing recognition that teens who engage in risk behaviors often participate...
