English language learning and teaching involves more factors than cognitive functioning or phonetic development. Cultural influence of both the native and target cultures impact learning styles, instruction approached and language skills such as listening or speaking

For a student whose cultural language tradition involves mostly oral story telling, reading text may be difficult. A teacher unfamiliar with the oral language tradition of the student's culture may incorrectly identify his reading troubles as signs of a learning problem when in reality it is the result of a cultural difference.

As far as instructions and classroom environment is concerned, the teacher as well as the management must focus on the fact that an orientation program must be introduced for the new comers which might reduce their chance of feeling alienated.

along with that there must be a grievance redressal mechanism which can register and address to problems faced by culturally backward students

Home-school partnerships help teachers develop strong relationships with their students and motivate parents to cooperate with teachers to improve academic performance. Parents also can learn basic teaching concepts, learn with their children and get to know others in the community while contributing to schools by volunteering.

Interacting and working with parents to improve students' education provides outside points of view on operations and policies that can improve them.

Working parents who participate in school activities and decision-making are more likely than those who don't to attract workplace or community sponsorship for school activities and other financial support

In order to increase the school - parent partnership, stress must be laid on increasing the teacher parent interaction besides the occassional meetings , this will increase the understanding of the student in the minds of parents and teacher and will effectively bridge the gap of understanding the student.

Cultural factors can significantly affect English language learning for both native English speakers and those students for whom English is an additional language. Some of the cultural factors that may influence English language learning are the student's family background, socio-economic status, and the cultural values and norms of their community.

Students from different family backgrounds may have varying levels of exposure to the English language, which may affect their proficiency in the language. For instance, students from families that speak English at home may have an easier time learning the language, while those from non-English speaking backgrounds may struggle. Socio-economic status can also influence English language learning, as students from low-income families may not have access to the same resources as those from affluent families.

The cultural values and norms of a student's community can also affect their English language learning. For instance, some cultures may value collectivism over individualism, which may affect the way a student approaches group work and participation in the classroom.

To address these cultural factors, it is important to create an inclusive and culturally responsive classroom environment that caters to the diverse needs of all students. Teachers can provide differentiated instruction that caters to the individual needs of each student and incorporate culturally responsive teaching strategies that take into account the cultural backgrounds of their students.

Home and school partnerships can also facilitate learning by providing a collaborative approach to education. When parents and caregivers are actively involved in their child's education, it can positively impact the student's academic achievement and social-emotional development. This partnership can involve regular communication between parents and teachers, parent-teacher conferences, and parental involvement in school activities.

To cultivate home and school partnerships, schools can create a welcoming and inclusive environment that values and respects the diverse cultural backgrounds of their students and families. Schools can also provide resources and support to parents and caregivers to help them become more engaged in their child's education, such as offering workshops and training on how to support their child's learning at home.

In conclusion, addressing cultural factors that affect English language learning and creating a collaborative home and school partnership can positively impact student achievement and overall academic success. It is important for educators to create a culturally responsive and inclusive classroom environment that values and respects the diverse backgrounds of all students. Schools should also actively engage parents and caregivers in their child's education to foster a collaborative and supportive learning environment.
