Answer #1

I would recommend Alicia to use the experimental method to conduct her research. This is because an experiment would allow her to draw a cause and effect relationship between the variables of interest. Furthermore, experimental studies are highly controlled and reduce the risk of confounding. For her study, I would suggest Alicia to first identify a group of students to participate in the study. She can then take assign them to either one of the two groups: individual learning and group learning. She can then teach a new concept to the participants for a week and then test how much the students learned thereafter. When this data is obtained, Alicia can check if there are significant differences between the two groups.
