This activity is important because marketers should understand how packaging decisions can promote and reinforce their brand image. Sooner Cereal is a national cereal brand that is known for having a premium-quality product that consistently ranks as one of the best-tasting and highest-priced cereals for adults on the market. Sooner Cereal wants to start promoting the idea that is also the healthiest cereal and the cereal that stays freshest the longest of any on the marketplace.

Delaney is considering eight (8) ideas as a brand analyst for Sooner Cereal and has to complete a report as to whether each is focused on promoting or reinforcing brand image.

The goal of this exercise is to assist Delaney by sorting each of the ideas she has based on whether they are promoting or reinforcing the Sooner Cereal brand.
