1) The United Nations is a global organization established in the year 1945 after the World War II by 51 nations committed to maintain global peace and security, developing friendly relations among countries and promoting social progress, human rights and better living standards. The four main motives of UN are:
-- To maintain peace and security throughout the globe;
-- To help countries in working together for enhancing better living standards, to conquer disease, hunger, and illiteracy, and to encourage respect for each other’s freedoms and rights;
