According to Emeç, Çatay, and Bozkaya, (2016), in determining if Amazon will succeed in its quest for same day delivery, it has a potential of succeeding as it has achieved a lot of trust from its customers. These outcomes have made it to become a popular center of preference for shopping by many clients who know of their new improvements with relations of fast delivery and price reduction.

As Amazon defines itself as a Trojan horse which is not about winning in grocery services, it has a mission which is set clearly to aim at dominating the market in the same day deliveries. The fact that the Bezos the CEO has successfully transformed Amazon into an unprecedented speed demon that can deliver what you want right now is a huge potential for the company to succeed in its mission as it has been challenging for other competing companies to succeed in the market of same day deliveries (McIlroy, Ali and Hassan, 2016).

As much as Amazon has the “same day system” as their competitive advantage, it still faces some threats from other competitors which are coming up with the same ideas. eBay is one of the competitor companies with the same idea. What makes Amazon outstanding is their fast growth which is seemingly in ways that are infinite although, the company does not like talking about it (Emeç, Çatay, and Bozkaya, 2016). To keep up with the plans of expanding their deliveries the same day, Amazon has also made a step of hiring 5000 more workers as it expects a lot of more and newer activities to take place.

First, Amazon has ensured that there is a reasonable price reduction on their products to capture more customers. Amazon has taken more action and effort for not only persuading their customers of their cheap prices and speedy delivery, but the company has acted upon their changes as quoted, “you can't convince people you have the low price; you actually have to have the low price”. “You can't persuade people that your delivery speeds are fast; you actually have to have fast delivery speeds!". The changes made have been implemented by taking full action of the changes they have for the company to achieve their goals (Emeç, Çatay, and Bozkaya, 2016).

As Amazon continues to grow, their level of competition is likely to increase. Investing in high-technology is a viable recommendation. However, Amazon should also say focused on the ability to provide top quality products and services to its customers. To ensure that the customer’s needs are continuously met, Amazon should ensure that they are following the concept of otal Quality Management (TQM)

One of the recommendations to Amazon is to expand its footage to developing markets which have high potentialto develop economically. E-commerce in these countries is under-utilized and as such Amazon should identify this opening to grow its business

The company must come up with a strategic policy that will help address its technological loopholes through an approach that allow the firm to advance its IT security and system integrity. The above issues affect customer confidence and if not effectively addressed the company will lose a substantial amount of market share. The company should get involved in intensive brand promotion by embracing corporate social responsibility and address any impending issues revolving around natural environment.

Amazon has done a lot has achieved a lot than only becoming a stellar retailer where the company further took steps of redefining, reinventing, and considering renovations for the global market. The efforts have multiplied their sales four times where these outcomes made it possible to be trusted more by its shoppers as it also got the most votes as one of the best and trust worthy companies. All these efforts will lead to their successful dominance in the market
