B . THINKING DIVERGENT

Divergent thinking is the process where in we search for multiple possible solution to a problem. Brainstorming and free writing are two methods that we use in divergent thinking, where in we can get multiple possible solution and view point on the problem. By using divergent thinking we could get multiple possible solution , from which we can confirm. The opposite of which is convergent thinking in which we converge towards a single solution for the problem. An example is having multiple choice question in which we need to converge towards an answer, but an open ended essay in which we can explore different perspective of the question.
