1. Provide an example where a two-way ANOVA would be appropriate. Then, describe the hypothesized interaction effect (how does the effect of IV #1 depend on the effect of IV #2?).
Above I have performed 2 way ANOVA with interaction effect in R where the hypothesis under check is 4 analysts used 3 methods A,B,C of titration to get the results to determine if titration results have any dependency on analyst, method or their interaction
Ho: Methods do not have any impact on the titration results
Ho:Analysts do not have any impact on the titration results
Ho:Interaction effect of Analyst & Method do not have any impact on the titration results
These 3 hypothesis were under check and for each we have p values as 0.262,0.453 and 0.604 respectively as shown in the summary result and hence for all the 3 results we cannot reject Ho
Henec in this specific example we can say that neither the
mothod, analyst nor their interaction effect has any significant
impact on the titration result (If you are not a science student
then you can understand titration as an experiment)
Hope the above answer has helped you in understanding the problem. Please upvote the ans if it has really helped you. Good Luck!!

1. Describe a study where a one-way ANOVA would be appropriate (hint: how many independent variables are there in a one-way ANOVA?). Make sure to tell us your independent and dependent variables. 2. What would you hypothesize in terms of the effect of your IV on your DV on why?
What is the major difference between a one-way ANOVA and a two-way ANOVA? 1)A two-way ANOVA has more power 2)A two-way ANOVA uses the same participants across conditions 3) A two-way ANOVA does not look at the interaction effects 4)None of the options
when conducting a two-way ANOVA, what are the main effect and interaction effect, and is it possible to have a significant main effect that is really caused by a large interaction effect and if so what are the reasonings?
