What is the difference between validity and reliability in psychological measurement? In terms of probability testing, what are the practical consequences of low reliability?
Consistency and accuracy are two important features of a research method. Both together determine the quality of a research work.
Reliability of a research method says how consistent the technique or the measures are, while Validity pertains to the accuracy of those techniques or measures.

If we get the same (values close to each other ) readings of the research variables even after repeating the experiment several times, then the research is a reliable one.
But, if the values of the same parameter differ from each other by high margin (upon every repetition), then the system is not reliable.
A constant change in the readings is an indication that either the tools used for the measurements are erroneous or the assumptions which is under test/research is unrealistic.

Differentiate between psychological measures with evidence of high validity and reliability versus low validity and reliability.
What is meant by the terms validity and reliability? What is the difference between the two terms? How do both affect generalizability? Use an example to support your explanation.
What is the difference between Low validity and Low reliability?
What is, in general terms, the main difference between reliability and validity? Can scales be reliable but not valid? Can scales be valid but not reliable? Please use an example for your explanations.
What is the difference between high validity and high reliability?
Reliability and measurement validity are two key concepts in Research Methods. Provide one example of each to demonstrate your understanding of these terms and include in your post a YouTube video, article, or website that further advances your understanding of reliability and measurement validity.
Provide an example of measurement validity and measurement reliability from your research, and discuss the potential sources of measurement error.

Describe the difference between descriptive and inferential statistics Identify the level of measurement of a variety of variables Describe the difference between measures of central tendency and variability Explain the difference between correlation and causation Describe measurement validity and reliability and name the statistics used to test them Explain the difference between a population and a sample Describe what correlations are and how they are used only answer if you know these.
