Glucose has the formula C6H12O6

So, in one mole of glucose, there are 6 moles of carbon.

In one mole of C17 fatty acid, there are 17 moles of carbon.

So, from one mole of C17 fatty acid, the moles of Glucose produced = 17/6 moles or 2.833 moles.
