Answer #1

Malaysian society is comparatively progressive than other Asian countries. Three main relihions appear there - Muslims, Chinese Buddhists and Indian Hindus. The Malaysian society is developed and they live with harmony. The education level is also high there. Naturally, they are less superstitious and prejudiced.

But surprising enough homosexuality is not permissible there. In spite of their education development they do not allow homosexuality. There is law against such practice. They believe it as a distorted culture. If anyone is caught with practicing it he is punished and the punishment even can range to twenty years imprisonment.

As science develops and people are advancing day after day there would change in laws. Homosexuality is a kind of biological and psychological disorder. It is inborn. The people with homosexuality bear rights to practice sex in mutual consent. The law against homosexuality in Malaysia is the violation of human rights.

Many protest against this inhuman law took place and the Government still maintain this discrimination. The Government should take the initiative for the modification of the laws like other countries. The pther countries also follow the progressive ways to provide the rights to the people with homosexuality.
