There is therefore the need for you to plan separate programmes so that these children can as well, be accommodated for them to benefit from teaching and learning. There are children in your class who complain about problems they are having with their sense of sound perception. Having gained knowledge about this area of study, classify and explain the problem of these group of children based on the site of laceration, (20 marks) 3. As a member of the welfare committee in your school, you were tasked to plan for the children with spb average cognitive functioning according to their need level. State and explain the new four ways by which the need level of these children can be identified. (20 marks)

First Question:

Five programmes for the children who have positively deviated from the norms are following:

(1)Special scholarship program: Such children should be awarded scholarships so that they and their families are motivated for their education.

(2)Education assistance program: These special children should be assisted in particular in areas or subjects where they are lagging.

(3)Cognitive ability development programs: These children face various cognitive issues for which special programs should be incorporated separately.

(4)Higher education assistance program: These children should be given opportunities in higher education.

(5)Co-curricular activities program: These children need to be given support also in other areas such as sports, arts, singing, paintings etc.
