You have identified the fact that a few children in your class and some who are yet to be enrolled have positively deviated from the norm. There is therefore the need for you to plan separate programmes so that these children can as well, be accommodated for them to benefit from teaching and learning. Identify and explain any five (5) programmes you can put in place for such children to also benefit from teaching and learning.

while teaching in classroom, there is both gifted children and backward children have presented in classroom .threfore it is true that some children will deviate positively norms while other children will have negetive deviation of norms. so those children who show goood performance ,there is need to designed separate pograme to provide full benefits in teaching learning process and improve their more learning outcome.  five pogramme has explained which provide more benefits to them.

1.such children have shown exceptional qualities like high order thinking skill, more productive , good leadership capablity ,specific academic skill, general intellectual abilitity, sound psychomotor development etc.So, there must have enrichment pogramme. Students should provider additional cahllenging task.provide oppertunities for development according to their menttal ability. like special assignment, work in independent project, independent library reading etc.

2.separate classroom: teacher must diveded children as per their mental and intellectual ability and provide teaching- learning as per their interest and needs . for example , positive norm deviant learner easily understand addition, substraction, but it is difficult for learning disabled students. so there is necessary to understnad their needs .

3. Accelaration:such gifted students should provide higher standard or double promotion by skiping grading. They are more advanced and they are not much suitable with exiting classroom.

4.advanced curriculum and evaluation: children more positively deviants from norms needs more complex and indepth curiiculum and more sound assesment system which helps to fully explore their capablities.

5.practical orinrted learning: learning should not mugging information or rote memorization. rather to nurture critical thinking, decision making capablities, ability to develop good interpersonal realtionship . this can only possible while teaching learning process more project based, demonstration oriented and allow discussion . so, it also helps to gives right direction of children higher order ability and inherent potential.
