A gas contained in a cylinder-piston sistem develops a termodynamic sistem consisting of three stages in series where in state 1, where P1 = 1 bar and V1 = 1.5 m3. The process is the following:

Process 1-2: compresion to PV = constant, W1-2=-104 kJ, U1 = 512 kJ and U2= 690 kJ

Process 2-3: W2-3= 0 kJ, Q2-3 = -150 kJ

Process 3-1: W3-1 = 50 kJ

Not taking into account the changes from kinetic and potential energy calculate:

a) Q1-2, Q3-1, and U3 in kJ

b) Is this a power cycle? Explain

The answes for part a) are supposed to be 54, 22 and 540 kJ respectively
