1. Dams: Dams block the salmons from their spawning grounds
2. Due to the pollution taking place in the marine environment, the marine survival of salmons is becoming low.
3. Climate change
4. Invasion of non-native fish species
5. Destruction of their natural habitat and spoilage of water quality by various polluting factors and human-involvement.
