Functional Testing

You have 3 parameters (g, h, i)each with 3 values
(<g1, g2, g3>, <h1, h2, h3>, <i1, i2, i3>).
Use IPO from Functional Testing to come up with the test cases. Show the initialization horizontal and vertical growth phases.

Show Orthogonal array for the same.

ANSWER :

using cartesian method

the system has three variables <g,h,i>

and each has 3 values

<<g1,g2,g3>,<h1,h2,h3>,<i1,i2,i3>>

all test case can be ganerated as 3x3x3=27 combinations

HERE if we select all combination then it will be 3*3*3=27 instruction

if we select partially then orthogonal array shown in following table

the system has 3 variables

in first column let, g1=1,g2=2,g3=3

in second column let h1=1,h2=2,h3=3

in third column let i1=1,i2=2,i3=3 so that , orthogonal array is in following table,
