  1. As the confidence level increase, how does the width of the confidence interval change (Width = Upper Limit – Lower Limit)? Why? Does it become more or less precise?

The confidence interval is calculated as

As per the above formula, second part i.e. zc*sigma/sqrt(n) decides the width of the interval

Higher the value, higher is the width of the CI.

If confidence level increases, the value of zc increases hence the width of the CI also increases.
