The topic of interest of a corporation being similar to a psychopath has been under a lot of discussion since the movie "The corporation" has been on screen. Though there mixed concepts of people regarding this yet I would like put light on certain areas which may show some truth of the saying.

Among many characteristics of a psychopath, few prominent ones are 'lack of remorse', 'lack of empathy' and 'self-centred'. Now if we look at a corporation then we can see that a corporation is basically concerned about the money, success and profits it make irrespective of the work pressure of employees or the quality of their goods. There are various products which are unhealthy for individuals but are still promoted by corporation for their business growth and benefits. In this context, we can say that corporation do not have the guilt for promoting wrong goods, do not empathise with the employees within and is completely concerned about its own betterment and profit which makes it look self centered. Thus, in this context it looks true that corporation has some similarities with a psychopath.
