3. A year and a half after being hired, the administrative officer requests a period of leave of six months due to personal reasons.

Make the severance taking into account that:

-     The leave is granted from July 25th.

  • The worker has 10 days of vacations pending.
  • During the month of July he made a total of 6 overtime hours

In Spain, 30 days are allowed as leave entitlement for the full-time workers. Those 30 days include 22 paid working days and 8 weekend days. There are 14 official public holidays.

United Kingdom, 28 paid working days, and eight public or bank holidays. Whereas the average paid leave days offered by private employers of US is 10 days after 1 year of service, and the increase to 14 days after 5 years, 17 days after the completion of 10 years service, and 20 days of extension after 20 years of service.
