I need help interpreting this IR data for the product of a Wittig reaction.
IR data of product: 1652.17, 1462.70, 1565, 1602, 3025-Peak values in cms-1
3025: sp2 C-H stretching
1652, 1602: C=C stretching aromatic
1565: C=C stretching conjugated to aromatic
1462: C-H deformation
The peak around 1652, 1565 and 1602 indicates the presence of C=C. If these were not present in your carbonyl compound as one of the starting material then it is a fair indication that reaction went to completion.
An absence of carbonyl peak around 1700-1725 is also an indication that C=C is formed as in Wittig reaction it is expected to form in place of C=O.
Please let me know any more information about the reaction you carried out (maybe reactants), then it will be easy to justify in a more concise manner.

I need help interpreting the following word problem. It is because I need to make the correct adjusting journal entry in a general journal. On 12/23/17, Peyton received $1,000 deposit from Pet Globe for product to be shipped by Peyton in the second week of January.
Based on the Wittig Reaction exp. below, please answer a) and b). In b) you can disregard the part about the IR, just please interpret and assign protons, shift values, which protons are for which groups, etc on the HNMR. The % yield was 34%, and MP was lower than expected (to assist with answering part a). This should be all the information you need to answer the question. HNMR Discuss the percentage yield of the reaction. Explain and provide...

I need help interpreting the following word problem. It is because I need to make the correct adjusting journal entry in a general journal. At 12/31/17, Peyton has $200 worth of merchandise on consignment at Bruno’s House of Bacon.
Please help. The Wittig reaction involves coupling between a phosphonium ylide and a carbonyl-containing molecule. If a chemist wants to use the Wittig reaction to synthesize xene, which reactants should be used? Use the graded interactive module below to explore the reactivity and mechanism of the Wittig reaction and to construct the target product molecule. Click and drag a reactant molecule from each column onto the reaction stage. Note the mechanism of the reaction and the obtained products. After constructing...
I need help interpreting the following word problem. It is because I need to make the correct adjusting journal entry in a general journal. On 12/03/2017, a mixer with a cost of $2,000, accumulated depreciation $1,200, was destroyed by a forklift. As of 12/23/17, insurance company has agreed to pay $700 in January, 2018, for accidental destruction.
I need help interpreting the following word problem. It is because I need to make the correct adjusting journal entry in a general journal. A supplier shipped $3,000 of ingredients on 12/29/17. Peyton receives an invoice for $3,175 for the goods and freight of $175, all dated 12/29/17. Goods were shipped FOB supplier’s warehouse.
