I need help interpreting this IR data for the product of a Wittig reaction.

IR data of product: 1652.17, 1462.70, 1565, 1602, 3025-Peak values in cms-1

3025: sp2 C-H stretching

1652, 1602: C=C stretching aromatic

1565: C=C stretching conjugated to aromatic

1462: C-H deformation

The peak around 1652, 1565 and 1602 indicates the presence of C=C. If these were not present in your carbonyl compound as one of the starting material then it is a fair indication that reaction went to completion.

An absence of carbonyl peak around 1700-1725 is also an indication that C=C is formed as in Wittig reaction it is expected to form in place of C=O.

Please let me know any more information about the reaction you carried out (maybe reactants), then it will be easy to justify in a more concise manner.
