That structure is a primitive backbone there isn’t that big difference between them however based on what the video was saying it is a flexible backbone, that makes the Haikouichthys tough from inside. Instead of the armor on the outside it has ana armor in the inside.

10. – First fish with jaws and teeth – what group is that? answer-The first jawed vertebrates appeared in the late Ordovician and became common in the Devonian, often known as the "Age of Fishes". The two groups of bony fishes, the actinopterygii and sarcopterygii, evolved and became common.

13-What innovation do reptiles evolve that allows them to colonize the land? answer-Living on land means reptiles can't rely on absorbing oxygen through their skin like amphibians. All reptiles have lungs they use for breathing -- even those who live most of their lives near or in water, such as crocodiles, must surface to breathe. Lungs allow reptiles to venture far away from aquatic environments.

12. We see an example of why fish may have evolved to leave the water. Why would they have been incentivized to move onto land? answer-Fossils have been found that show fish developing into amphibians and moving out of the water and onto the land. Those fish that had the flexibility to allow them to move out onto land were able to remove themselves from a very competitive environment and into a new habitat of plants and insects.
