My favorite place id Chennai, Tamilnadu India. That is not my native place though. I worked there for 2.5 years and that has been my favorite since I entered that city. The streets, the friends I have there, the beaches, the weekend trips, shopping, temples and the wonderful people of that city has given me a life timr memories. I used to stay in hostels and PGs and I have shifted to 5 hostels during my stay there. I have my best friend with me whom I met after going to Chennai. She and I used to roam in the city at nights, near the beaches, and went to shopping, parks and some outstation trips. We used to cook food and then leave to offices. Chennai is a wonderful city with many beaches. Beaches are the good places of refreshment. I even don't know the routes and roads in my native place as I know in Chennai. We covered almost all the restaurants there. In Chennai, you see number of temples and it looks so divine. The city is best known for textiles and cheap street food. The people were so friendly and helpful. If you want any address to any destination, any person there can tell you easily. New year nights used to be funny. You see people of different cultures there and Chennai people invites and accepts all of them with heart. The city is very big and it takes 2 to 3 hours to go to any place. That is why there are number of local trains and metro trains in Chennai. They serve the purpose of taking the passengers to far destinations and the ticket price is affordable and as cheap as 5 INR. This way one can save their money on travel and still can have a wonderful journey in local trains. It is known for hot and scorching summers. The temperatures hit a maximum of 48°C in summers but you won't feel the hot winds. Only you feel suffocated and sultry. The roads are big and full of trees. I love that city more than any other.
