1. Hyatt Hotels is one of the leading hotel chains in the hospitality industry. The company works with the objective of providing authentic and genuine hospitality to all customers and making a difference in lives of the people associated with the business.

2. The company has been in news for its expansion plans in Malaysia as well as India. It can be considered as an emerging leader in the hospitality sector across the world. I am interested to research about how the hotel plans to enter a new market and how it keeps its quality uniform and consistent across its centers.

3. Hyatt Hotels is listed in the NYSE stock listing. The company’s shares have been performing quite well from the last 3 years. Various investors have considered it as a profitable investment option in the stock and trade market.

4. Through this research, I am aiming to understand how expansion works in a hospitality segment. Also this research would help me in analysing the ways in which a hotel tries to enter a foreign market and tries to sustain its business practices and service quality across the hotels.
