"If 2 drops are good, 20drops must be better!" Explain why this reasoning is not logical when adding phenolphthalein indicator for an endpoint determination.

2 drops are sufficient for obtaining a end point in the volumetric analysis such as acid base titrimetry etc. This is because of the fact that here phenolphthalein is a indicator and it is used in the given titration to only indicate that reaction gets completed and nothing has its role with anyone concentration of analyte and titrant so why we add 20 drops for it . we only want a visual change by physically observing the different color at end point .
