For an Arduino, When using multiple LEDs and pins, why can’t you wire all the pins to the positive bus?

This is because attaching too much pins to the positive buses will result in substantial potential (voltage) drop (from a single source) across the circuit. This in-turn will result in substantial current drop. For example, a single LED draws around 2.2 V from the source and if we connect two such batteries to a 3V battery, it will overwhelm the capacity and won't work.
