Minors, as per law, are not the competent parties to enter into a contract. Ellen was a minor and hence the contract is void ab initio. James cannot claim for any damages or insist Ellen to perform the contract hence. The contract has no legal binding upon Ellen and therefore, the most likely result is that James may lose the case and the Court may rule in favor of Ellen.
