My current work experience is more organized in the winter than it is in the summer. This is due to the fact that being a waitress in the city and having outside seating, things get a little crazy in the summer because more tourists are around and demand is way higher. Some complications we have in the summer are being understaffed, unnecessarily snapping at one another due to stress, and running out of important things we need like silverware. Some positives in the summer and in the winter as well is that at the end of the day everyone is happy with one another and management makes it a point to fix any complications that happened throughout the day to further ensure that the same problems do not occur again! Overall, the company I work for is incredibly successful with their work ethic although there have been a few bumps in the road.

If the company is understaffed, one of the best way to deal with is effective communication. A good communication between the staff members can help things become more arranged.

In situation of understaffing the staff members will have to work at their full potential. And as mentioned in the question, the company is incredibly successful with their work ethic. In such a situation the manager will reach himself reach out to staff to ask for help and provide all possible support. Along with it if the company is leaving its customers satisfied at the end of the day, then very soon their turnover will increase and it will try to increase the availability of staff members.
