1. Using wrong indicator: Each indicator works in a particular pH range. So, choose indicator wisely.

2. Adding too much indicator: use only 2-3 drops (if liquid) or a pinch (if solid) of an indicator. Adding too much indicator will give a false end point.

3. Storing electrode in Deionised water: While doing potentiometric titrations, never store the electrode in Deionised water.

4. Choose buffer according to the solution: one of the determining factor for choosing buffer is pka value of the buffer.
