For a skewed distribution, is it true that the mean is always larger than the median and that the median is always larger than the mode? Provide justification for your answer.

In general it is not true. there are two types of skewed distributions one is right skewed distribution and another one is left skewed distribution.

For left skewed distribution,

Mean<median<mode

For right skewed distribution,

Mean>median>mode
