Question

Hello! I’m looking for help designing an experiment for my ecology lab. I must design and carry out an ecology experiment in a forest in the karst region of Puerto Rico. I must gather enough data for statistical analysis. Also, all the data must be collected in the field, in one day, and without bringing samples back. Any ideas?

Edit: I was thinking of doing a comparison between fungui populations in disturbed parts of the forest (by Hurrican Maria) as opposed to less disturbed areas of the forest. I’m not well versed in mycology so I was thinking narrowing it down to a pathogen and host would be good. However, I have no idea about what fungui species are abundant.
