A DC voltage Vs is applied to a lossless transmission line of

length L, with characteristic impedance Zo

and propagation velocity Up. The line is terminated in a short circuit. Draw the "bounce diagram" for the voltage along the line as a function of time for the following cases:

a) Rs = 1/3Zo

b) Rs = 3Zo

c) Rs= Zo

Where Rs is the source impedance.

For the case Rs= Zo plot the voltages at both ends of the line and at the center of the line as afunction of time. Use propagation time TL = L/Up as the reference time for your bounce diagram and plots
