Answer #1

In humans, 46 chromosomes are present in which males have 44 + XY and females have 44 + XX.

So, the male has only one X chromosome and one Y chromosome.

In the females two copies of X chromosome are present they do not contain Y chromosome.

To maintain the gene expression ( similar to males) which are processed by X chromosome, female system block the expression of one X chromosome and do not transcribe genes from this X chromosome.

Only one X chromosome of female is working which exhibits transcription and process proteins formation. Malel already have one X chromosome which is properly functional and another Y chromosome which is also functioning for male characters.

So by the activity of female X chromosome inactivation both male and females of human maintains the productivity of X chromosome.

Overall male do not have any role to maintain quantity of products produced by female X chromosome only female can regulate or maintain dosage compensation as compared to male.

Thanks.

Aneuploidy of an autosome is always more harmful than an aneuploidy of a sex chromosome. One of the explanations as to why sex-chromosome aneuploids are less harmful is due to X inactivation. X-inactivation assures that all human cells only express a single X chromosome regardless of how many X chromosomes are present. Interestingly, sex chromosome aneuploids (i.e. XXY, XO) still have some different phenotypes compared to either an XX or XY individual.  For instance, XXY individuals (Klinefelter Syndrome) are taller, have...

Observation: Sex Chromosome Anomalies A female with Turner syndrome (XO) has only one sex chromosome, an X chromosome; the O signifies the absence of the second sex chromosome. Because the ovaries never become functional, these females do not undergo puberty or menstruation, and their breasts do not develop. Generally, females with Turner syndrome have a short build, folds of skin on the back of the neck, difficulty recognizing various spatial patterns, and normal intelligence.
