SETA means Security Education, Training and Awareness Programs (SETA). It is the responsibility of a Chief Information Security Officer (CIS) to conduct this program for job and technical level of expertise.

Give UNIQUE examples of the 3 different areas

1. Security Awareness is one of the main levels of SETA. It is one of the most basic levels which is used for the employees who are unskilled or new. It emphasizes employees focus on security. It is extremely effective.

2. Security Training is an intermediate level of SETA. According to NIST, it is not possible to protect data integrity, security, confidentiality unless until if all the employees follow the set of instructions and protocols. This method provides hands-on security training. Employees have been divided into general users, technical, managerial etc.


3. Security Education is the highest level of SETA. It is used for the employees in highly technical or skilled positions which demand greater security information.

SETA is much crucial for the success of any security programs and security architecture of any organization.
