Answer #1

Physiological theory: The fact that my heartbeat has increased in hearing about this surprise test makes me feel that I have emotional stress or tension inside due to increased heartbeat as I am thinking of consequences that can happen due to achieving low grades on surprise test.

Neurological theory: On hearing details about the surprise test, the hippocampus part of the brain activates producing a fear for attending the exam.

Cognitive theory: On hearing details about the surprise the negative consequence with respect to failing in this exam is the thought which comes to brain first and an unhappy overall emotion due to the same.
