Answer #1

Area of capacitor ,plate separation  , Battery voltage

a)

Capacitance

b)

Charge stored on the plates is

c)

Electric field between the plates

d)

Magnitude of charge density on each plate is

e)

Without disconnecting the battery, the plates are moved farther apart to a new distance,

Capacitance, charge, electric field and charge density, all are inversely proportional to separation between the plates.

So as the separation between the plates increases, all the above physical quantities decrease from their previous answers..
