Solution:

Macroscale recrystallization uses a Buchner filter and purifies a larger amount of solid whereas microscale recrystallization uses a Craig tube and purifies extremely small amount of solid.

The major issue regarding to  macroscale recrystallization is the acceleration of crystal formation while in the case ofmicroscale recrystallization, the main issue about to the filter pipet.

As for as result is concerned, in microscale recrystallization the amount of solid which are purifed is so small that missing even a tiny mass of crystal makes a significant difference in percent recovery.
