the phosphite in has the following formula PO33- I.e in this the oxygen is less when compare with PO43- so it is named as phosphite having the -3 charge

the potassium has the +1charge

to neutralize the -3 the three potassium ions are required so the formula is as follows 3K+ ions and one PO33-
