Ans to Q1: The characteristics of the successful project is to make sure that certain important factors are present in the life cycle of the project and that a clear plan with vision is present in it.

Some of the important characteristics of the project are:

• Planning: This is the characters of the successful project wherein a proper road map is laid down as to what and how project can be made successful. Everything has to be planned in advance so as the projects run smoothly.
• Management and monitoring of projects: Management principles in theory and practical shall be applied to the project and shall be made sure that the project is managed carefully at each steps and the same shall be monitored.
• Control and risk assessment: At each level of successful project there shall be risk assessment and control mechanism so as to keep a robust system at place to contain any situation and redirect the focus on project development.
• Good team members: Team members involved in doing the project are the ones who will actually lead to a project to its success. Success of the projects largely depends on the strength of the team at work and not on the mangers alone and that collective responsibility towards attaining the vision is required.
• Vision: The vision has to be clear throughout the project life cycle as this would enable the team to work on the project without distractions and would lead to successful project.
