I think IVF is a best way to fulfill the dreams for someone who is unable to have a child due to many varied reasons. It is a best way to feel happy with something one has been waiting for long. The parents should be allowed to have a baby with this technique but not with the intention for being able to detect or ascertain the gender. This is incorrect ethically. One should treat kids with equality no matter what gender they have. If there is some life harming disease, it is a good way to prevent this in the baby so that he or she does not have to live with a fear of loosing life all the while. But if the child's genes are being controlled by acts of technology to ensure he has the best features, good voice, good color then all this is counted in selfish acts. We need to learn to accept the features of the child no matter how he looks. He should be loved for an innocent heart always.
