The selection is a process where the candidates will be hired according to their skill and different criteria needed to do the work in the organization.

The following are the methods of selection:

1. Preliminary Interviews: It is a process where a candidate is checked for the minimum criteria needed for that post. Basic information such as skill, background information and educational qualifications are checked. Candidates who do not possess these basic criteria will be rejected in the first level itself.
2. Written Test: In the written test it includes questions that include the subject as well as other areas. It also tests the candidate various arenas, a person who clears this will only send for the next level.

Strength	Weakness
Many candidates can pass through the level in preliminary interview as they will have exact skill they possess for the job.	A extremely skilled candidate can also be rejected as the basic level in preliminary interview as he does not possess the simple need to pass through the level.
