the object distance , do = 12 m

the object height , ho = 12 mm

the image distance , di = 24 m

let the image height be hi

the magnification , m = ( - di /do) = hi/ho

( - 24 /12) = hi /12

hi = - 24 mm

the diameter of sphere's image is 24 mm
