As the functions of presentation layer is encryption /decryption and compression of large files ; by removing this layer developer has to take care of these functions on other layers if required.

And discussing the functions of session layer which is mostly providing session for communication, synchronization , logical grouping of commands ,etc. These important functions are to done by lower layers by the developer of the application.

Algorithms are to be made at lower layers to add the funtionalities of these layers also.

Tcp is connection oriented protocol which is required in http to get all parts of the document in a proper order and no information is lost. It is highly reliable.

Whereas udp is not connection oriented protocol but is faster than tcp , which makes it better for voip. As this communication requires speed rather than reliablity.
