What is a disadvantage of using the Utilitarianism Rule of Decision Making?

Utilitarianism refers to a process of decision making where each factor is assigned some value for the advantages and disadvantages depending on the results of the actions.

It is sometimes very difficult to measure the values of certain actions in numeric terms. For example, value of $ dollars cannot be compared with value of life. Further, it is not always possible to determine the benefits or harms of certain actions to exact figures.

Thus, making utilitarianism a not so good decision making approach.
