Formula of Sodium bicarbonate is NaHCO3.

Molar mass of sodium bicarbonate is 84 g.

Molarity of solution is the number of moles of solute per 1000 ml of solution.

So, moles of sodium bicarbonate in 418 ml of solution having molarity 0.100 M will be

(0.100 x 418 ÷ 1000) = 0.0418 moles

Mass of 0.0418 moles of sodium bicarbonate is equal to ( 84 x 0.0418) = 3.5112 g.
