answer-

Mcdonalds is a very famous fast food restaurant chain which adopt Cost leadership strategy as base of its business because it wants to provide customers low cost food with fast delivery. the key aspects of this strategy is its pricing, quality, supply chain and strong positioning in marketing and promotion.

if we classify them based on competitive and Cooperative types then we find that its supply chain and strong positioning is Cooperative because Mcdonalds negotiate with its suppliers and distributors to provide raw materials at low price but at high quality. Company cooperate with employees who provide good services to customers and customers support on social media that food of Mcondalds is not unhealthy like many rumors are spread. there is strong commuity of customers over social media.

from Competitive perspective, Company charge low price and high fast delivery services to customers so that it can get ahead with its competitors like KFC, Subways etc. it also open Mccafe to compete with starbucks. It spends millions of dollars on marketing and promotion to compete with other fast food brads.

the resources which are most critical to pursue its low cost strategy is strong supply chain which can provide supplies at right time to right place so that food is fresh as well as never get stock out. financial resources so that company can use that to market its products in many locations all over the world which are different to different countries. talented human resource which can manage its restaurants with great service to customers and fast delivery in time.
